Nelson County departments and offices, including the County’s Solid Waste Transfer Station will be closed on the following days in observance of the New Year’s holiday:

Nelson County offices will observe the following holiday schedule:
January 1, 2024 Closed

Nelson County Transfer Station will observe the following holiday schedule:
December 30, 2023 Closed
January 1, 2024 Closed

All County Convenience Collection Sites and Public Safety Operations will continue to maintain regular hours of operation.
