Dear Director Bishop,

Pursuant to §15.2-2214 of the Code of Virginia, this letter is to request a Special Called Meeting of the Nelson County Planning Commission to be held on June 25, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. in the Former Board of Supervisors Room of the Courthouse located at 84 Courthouse Square, Lovingston, VA 22967.

The purpose of the Special Called Meeting is to conduct a joint work session with the Nelson County Board of Supervisors for the zoning and subdivision ordinance updates, as well as hold a joint public hearing on amendments to Article 10: General Floodplain District.

The Planning Commission may also consider other matters at the Special Called Meeting, predicated on the attendance of all members of said Commission at the Special Called Meeting.
