Crabtree Falls Trail closed the morning of Wednesday, October 25 for Fire and Rescue Training

Natural Bridge Station, Va, October 23 —Crabtree Falls Trail in Nelson County will be closed to all users on Wednesday, October 25, from sunrise until noon. The trail will reopen to the public at noon.

The Forest Service is hosting training for first responders in conjunction with Wintergreen Fire & Rescue.

Glenwood-Pedlar District Ranger Lauren Stull said, “We know how much the public treasures Crabtree Falls. Because of its high use, it’s imperative that we provide opportunities for first responders to prepare for emergency situations We appreciate the public’s patience while we undertake important training to keep our visitors safe.”
