County of Nelson Notice of Office Holiday Closing Nelson County courts, departments and offices, will be closed on Monday, October 14, 2024 in observance of the Columbus Day holiday, and will reopen for regular hours of operation on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. The County’s Transfer Station will be closed on Saturday, October 12, 2024

National Park Service - Full Parkway Closure For All Uses The Blue Ridge Parkway is closed indefinitely to allow for a comprehensive and thorough assessment of damage related to Hurricane Helene.
