Dear Ms. Bishop,

Pursuant to §15.2-2214 of the Code of Virginia, this letter is to request a Special Called Meeting of the Nelson County Planning Commission to be held on January 28, 2026 at 5 p.m. in the Former Board of Supervisors Room of the Courthouse located at 84 Courthouse Square, Lovingston, VA 22949

The purpose of the Special Called Meeting is to conduct a work session to review the draft zoning and subdivision ordinance updates.

The Planning Commission may also consider other matters at the Special Called Meeting, predicated on the attendance of all members of said Commission at the Special Called Meeting.

Please note, this meeting may be impacted by inclement weather. Should the meeting need to be cancelled, an update will be posted on the Nelson County website under “News and Announcements.”
