Notice of Office Holiday Closing
Nelson County courts, departments and offices, will be closed on Monday, October 12, 2026 in observance of the Columbus Day holiday, and will reopen for regular hours of operation on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
The County’s Transfer Station will be closed on Saturday, October 10, 2026 and Monday, October 12, 2026 in observance of the Columbus Day holiday, and will reopen for regular hours of operation on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
The County Convenience Centers and all public safety operations will continue to maintain regular hours of operation.
