Applicants Needed for Parent Representative on Family Assessment and Policy Team (FAPT)

The Nelson County Community and Policy Management Team (CPMT) is seeking a parent representative for the Family Assessment and Policy Team (FAPT) who possesses the skills, commitment, and experience to effectively support and advocate for families involved with the County’s child-serving agencies.
The parent representative will provide a parent’s perspective when assessing services for children and families in need of support and take an active role in decision making. The candidate must be resourceful, empathetic, and well versed in issues relating to the needs of vulnerable children and those with special needs.

The position offers a stipend and requires up to two meetings per month lasting one to three hours each.
