HOURS: The Registrar’s Office will be open for in-person No Excuse/Early Voting beginning September 18 | Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. The office will also be open on Saturday, 10/24 and Saturday, 10/31 from 9 am to 5 pm.

Voter Registration Deadline
October 13, 2020
The deadline to register to vote in the General Election is Tuesday, October 13, 2020. The constitution of Virginia requires that voters be registered in the precinct in which they live in order to be qualified to vote. Qualified residents who will be at least 18 years of age on or before November 3, 2020, may register to vote. To register to vote, you must complete a voter registration application. Use this website to fill out the online application form. You can also download a blank mail-in voter registration application and complete it by hand. Registered voters who need to change their address may do so by completing, signing and submitting a voter registration application, the voter card, or on-line at www.vote.virginia.gov . The deadline to change registration information prior to the November General and Special Election is October 13,2020. If a registered voter’s address has changed, the voter should update their address to ensure they remain qualified to vote.

Deadline to Apply By Mail or Online: Friday, October 23, 2020 by 5:00 p.m.
Deadline to Apply In Person: Saturday, October 31, 2020 by 5:00 p.m.

On any election, whether General, Primary, or Special – the polls are required to open at 6:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m.
