Six rooms, as well as a two bedroom guest cottage, each with a private bath, comprise the historic farm house (est. 1836), located on a 250-acre farm at the foothills of Afton Mountain. The Tasting Room is less than a half-mile walk to Veritas Winery on a gravel path through vineyards and past horse fields. Surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains and located in the heart of Virginia wine country which was named as one of the Top 10 Best Wine Travel Destinations in 2012 by Wine Enthusiast Magazine. 7 wineries, 3 breweries, a cidery and a distillery are all located within a 10-mile radius. FARMHOUSE FINE DINING:
Farmhouse Dinners are offered Tuesday through Saturday nights at 6:30 pm. They are four-course, wine paired meals which feature home grown and house made Farm-to-Fork menus prepared weekly by Chef Andy and Chef Coleman.
Enjoy them al fresco in the summer or cozy by the fire in the winter. Guests will be greeted with a glass of Veritas Sparkling Wine and seated before 7 pm. (See website for menu)
