The Dodd Cabin – Open on select Sundays. Stop by to visit the restored cabin located in the Beech Grove Community in Nelson County. The original land grant was issued by King George III to Rachel Morrison in 1772. The land was purchased by John Dodd and the cabin was built circa 1781-1800. William A. Dodd, a civil war veteran, lived there from 1840-1931. The cabin was last occupied in 1955 by Emma Dodd. The Dodd Cabin has been restored to capture the historic era of the Beech Grove Community.
