The Rockfish Valley Trail system provides public access to trails along the Rockfish River, Reids Creek and Spruce Creek in the South Rockfish Valley Rural Historic District. Trail heads are located at Spruce Creek Park, the Camille Trail Head at the Rockfish River on RT 151 and off Glenthorne Loop. There are special trials such as a geology trail, Kids in Park Tract Trail,a geocache trail and recognized DGIF Birding Trails. The area is recognized as an important birding area in the United States by the Audubon society. Portable toilets are provided. see www.rockfishvalley.org to download a trail map.
