A non-profit Christian organization that brings volunteers and donors together as partners with those in need of safe, decent, affordable housing in Nelson County.

We build homes and we repair homes in Nelson County. But it is much deeper than that. We work with individuals and families who are willing to partner with us by working alongside volunteers to build or repair their home, attending homeowner education classes, and paying an affordable mortgage. We believe that through shelter we help individuals build strength, stability, and self-reliance which can empower the entire community. Better, affordable living conditions lead to improved health, stronger childhood development, and the ability and financial flexibility to make forward-looking choices. Decent shelter contributes to thriving school systems, community organizations, and civic activism.
