The church was built in 1892 in the heart of the Gladstone, Virginia by C&O railroad and 4 railroad workers. The original Name was C&O Baptist church until after World War II . That’s when so many young men from the town had died in the war so the church added stained glass windows dedicated to the young men and renamed the church to Gladstone Memorial Baptist Church.
