Annual Piney River Volunteer Fire Department Chitterling Festival — Every February (Date TBD) at the Piney River Volunteer Fire Department.
Chitterlings and all the fixins’. Additional items such as ham, fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, vegetables, breads and an array of tempting homemade desserts. Dine in or take out. Quilt raffle. Auxiliary cookbooks for sale. All proceeds benefit the Piney River Fire Department. Come join us for this wonderful country tradition with great food prepared by Nelson County’s best local cooks.
