UPDATE: The start date for this project has moved to April 3, 2023.
Motorists should expect delays due to the installation of a Box Culvert on Route 654 in Nelson County. Route 654 (Cedar Creek Road) will be temporarily closed to thru traffic from Route 661 (Phoenix Road) to Route 655 (Variety Mills Road). This section of Route 654 will be closed from 3/29/2023 to 4/15/2023.
VDOT will provide adequate signs for the closure and detour.
