The Bridge Connects the City of Lynchburg to Amherst County

Lynchburg, Va. – Maintenance work on the Carter Glass Bridge has the right, northbound lane closed. The work began on Monday, October 31 with an expected completion date of Friday, November 11.
Crews are patching the decking on the bridge. Burleigh construction is doing the work.
