About the Update:
Nelson County is currently in the process of revising and updating its Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan is a long-range, high-level planning document that addresses topics such as land use, development, community amenities, transportation, housing and the economy. The plan outlines the community’s long-term vision and strategies to achieve that vision. The policies defined in the document guide the County’s future direction and priorities for growth, services and land use regulation.
Three public workshops will be held:
July 13, 2022 at 5:30 pm at Nelson County High School
July 20, 2022 at 5:30 pm at Rockfish Elementary School
August 3, 2022 at 5:30 pm at the Nelson Heritage Center
