Septic and Well Assistance Program

There is funding available through the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) Septic and Well Assistance Program (SWAP).  Individual homeowners who meet income qualifications can apply for assistance with replacing/repairing wells and septic systems.  In addition, VDH has an open RFA available through 4/27/22 for local governments, planning district commissions, etc. to apply to administer their own program (funding from 100,000-300,000).  All information, including contacts for questions, is available at the link listed above.
