The Jefferson-Madison Regional Library Board of Trustees is seeking public input on the library’s five-year plan. A planning committee representing library staff, the Library Board, and Friends of the Library is working on drafting library goals and objectives for the 2014-2019 time period. The library’s current plan is available online at http://www.jmrl.org/pdf/ab-5YearPlan.pdf.
Area residents interested in sharing ideas for improving library services may offer comments at a Library Board meeting at the Nelson Memorial Library on Monday, January 27, at 1 PM. Residents may also send comments and recommendations to the Library Director at the Charlottesville 201 East Market Street location at email@example.com.
JMRL serves the localities of Albemarle, Charlottesville, Greene, Louisa, and Nelson. For its size, JMRL is oneof the most heavily used public libraries in the nation.
