The Jefferson-Madison Regional Library Board of Trustees is seeking public input on the library’s five-year plan. A planning committee representing library staff, the Library Board, and Friends of the Library is working on drafting library goals and objectives for the 2014-2019 time period. Area residents interested in sharing ideas for improved library services are welcome to speak at the December Library Board meeting, Monday, December 16, 1:00 PM at the Central Library at 201 East Market Street in Charlottesville or residents may send comments and recommendations to the Library Director at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Library Board will also be accepting comments at a meeting at the Nelson Memorial Library on January 27, 1 pm.
JMRL serves the localities of Albemarle, Charlottesville, Greene, Louisa, and Nelson. For its size, JMRL is oneof the most heavily used public libraries in the nation.
