Contemplative hiking and nature-inspired writing/drawing at Fortune's Cove Nature Preserve. Experience the intersection of three awareness practices: mindfulness, walking, and creative expression in writing or drawing. Each practice enriches the others; the focus of this walk will be awakening the five senses. No writing or drawing experience necessary.
Best for adults and teens able to walk in mindful silence and to undertake a steep trail rewarded by mountain views. We’ll open and close with a discussion circle.
Proceeds go to NCPRD for outdoor activity scholarships for kids
