Continuing a commitment to help Veterans obtain the disability benefits to which they are entitled, attorneys with the Veterans Benefit Group of Goodman Allen Donnelly will host another free legal clinic for Veterans in Central Virginia on Monday, July 17, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the University of Virginia School of Law, 580 Massie Road, Charlottesville, VA.
The clinic continues the firm’s collaboration with the UVA Maxine Platzer Lynn Women’s Center and the UVA School of Law to provide Central Virginia veterans an opportunity to meet with an experienced veterans benefits attorney, one-on-one, to discuss questions about benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Erin Ralston, an attorney with the Veterans Benefit Group, said, “In our work, we talk with Veterans every day who are frustrated with the VA disability benefits process. They may not have filed the right form, or failed to submit evidence that properly supports their claim. They may have been waiting months – even years – for the VA to issue a decision. These free clinics provide an easy, no obligation opportunity for us to talk with veterans and give them insight about how to overcome potential hurdles in their case.”
Free, convenient parking will be available for the clinic, and the clinic is open to all Veterans who pre-register. Those interested in attending may call (434) 817-2189 to pre-register for the event.
